Super Bowl Salmon Bites

I never got on the InstaPot bandwagon, but air-fryers - that’s my jam!

Here’s TWO recipes for salmon bites you can use your air-fryer for to enjoy during the BIG Game!

HOT HONEY SALMON BITES (makes 4 servings)

Ingredients:

3 tbsps honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 Lime (juiced)

4 garlic cloves

2 tsps chili flakes

1 1/2lbs salmon fillets (skinless, cut into large cubes)

2 tbsps cilantro (chopped)

Directions:

In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic, and chili flakes. Add the salmon, stir, and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF (205ºC).

Transfer the salmon bites to the air fryer basket and bake for seven to eight minutes or until cooked through, shaking halfway through.

Top the salmon with cilantro and enjoy!

***If you and your crowd aren’t as into heat but want to try something similar, here you go…

SESAME SALMON BITES (makes 4 servings)

Ingredients:

1/4 cup tamari

3 tbsps honey

1 1/3 tbsps rice vinegar

2 tsps sesame oil

1 1/2 lbs salmon fillets (skinless, cut into large cubes)

1 1/3 tbsps sesame seeds

Directions:

In a bowl, whisk together the tamari, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Add the salmon, stir, and marinate for about 15 minutes.

Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF (205ºC).

Transfer the salmon bites to the air fryer basket and bake for seven to eight minutes or until cooked through, shaking halfway through.

Top the salmon with sesame seeds and enjoy!
