What if we normalize strength training...
Parents book the hotels, organize carpools, juggle weekends, and spend a lot of money each year supporting our daughters' athletic dreams. It’s all done in the name of sport and opportunity.
But here's the question: why isn’t strength training part of that same conversation?
We don’t blink an eye at the cost or time commitment of travel teams—but when it comes to the weight room? Too often, girls get left behind. Not because they don’t want it. But because no one ever told them it was for them.
It’s time we changed that.
The Problem: A Missing Piece in Her Development
For too long, strength training has been prioritized—whether intentionally or not—for boys' sports. Most female athletes have never been taught how to train properly, how to move efficiently, or how to build the power and confidence that comes from developing real strength. Many don’t even know where to start.
Which is too bad, because from the ages of 12-14 (relatively speaking), girls’ bodies change dramatically and they need to relearn proper movement patterns amidst hormonal changes that make them feel just plain awkward.
The truth is:
🛑 Girls are more likely to suffer ACL injuries due to strength imbalances and movement patterns.
🛑 Girls drop out of sports at nearly twice the rate of boys by age 14.
🛑 Girls are often taught to “look fit” instead of being coached to train for performance.
We can do better.
The Solution: Real Training. Real Coaching. Real Confidence.
At NE360Fitness, we’ve created a program we’re opening just for female athletes—from middle school through college—that combines:
✅ Performance-based training (not aesthetics)
✅ Injury prevention through movement education
✅ Speed, strength, and power development
✅ Coach-led small group sessions in a positive, motivating environment
✅ A community of girls getting stronger—together
This is not a bootcamp. It’s not about pushing girls too hard.
It’s about giving them priority access to a strength-focused training facility—with coaching that meets them where they are and helps them level up safely and with confidence.
Why It Matters
Strength training does more than improve performance—it builds resilience, confidence, and leadership.
When girls feel strong in their bodies, they show up stronger in every part of life—on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.
If we want our daughters to keep playing, keep competing, and keep believing in themselves, we need to give them access to the same tools and coaching support that help male athletes thrive.
And that starts now.
Ready to Change the Game?
Our summer program is already filling up with athletes who are ready to train with purpose—and with a team behind them.
